"AWOL is a fellowship of individuals having a common character and interest, dedicated to the development and improvement of sisterhood, both in the individual and the community. To accomplish this, AWOL endeavors to promote better communication between individuals, and to promote and support charitable causes. AWOL believes in the equality of sisterhood regardless of race, religion, national origin, or sexual preference."
