House of Iron
The House of Iron (HoI) was formed in 2021, by Ms. Jay Iron. HoI is an Indigenous based Leather Family collective composed of clans who may have various kinks, fetishes, cultures, and knowledge, who subscribe to the principles of the 7 Granfather Teachings (Love, Respect, Bravery, Truth, Honesty, Humility, & Wisdom).
The dynamic of the House of Iron is rooted in the entrustment of power, a collective wisdom and the fudnamental principles of decolonizing kink. The Matriarchy, the house leadership, facilitates agreements between clans and is responsible for final decision making.
The house emblem was conceived by Ms. Jay, the patch designed by UnrulyNerdGirl, and the actual fabrication of the patch was the work of the leather worker Shane, of Abraided Leather.
