The Vulgarians, Tallahassee

The Vulgarians is a 501(c)(7) fellowship for Tallahassee’s marginalized kink community. We welcome all persons of all genders, identities, sexualities, races and roles. In 2021, we had 20 members or so. Today, we have hundreds and more arrive each month. Due to growth, we felt the need to radially scale up training for leaders and members alike.

Our top priorities are Consent, Negotiation and Safety with a lot of education and fun thrown in. Our space is open to demos, leather events/education classes, play parties and meetings. We offer the space for members to use as a workshop, teach a personal kink related skill or have private events.

Accessibility and support are provided to our members in need.

A local safe house dedicated to protecting the un-housed transgender community was designated as our official charity.

Affiliated groups include BIPOC and sappho.

Membership requires annual RSO/criminal background checks. Monthly, we provide an updated Consent/Negotiation Class which members are required to attend yearly to refresh their knowledge.
