Rules for adding a square to the Leather Quilt:
Any House, Club, Organization, or Entity wanting to add a patch to the Leather Quilt must;
1. Have been in existence for a minimum of 2 years.
2. Have 2 letters of recommendation from community leaders (not directly affiliated with them) who are willing to vouch for their integrity and service within the community.
If they are part of a larger organization (MAsT, Onyx, Onyx Pearls, etc) one of the letters of recommendation must come from the parent, or oversight, organization.
Any other type of patch (for example a club no longer in existence) will be considered on a case by case basis with a heavy emphasis on service to the community and historical significance.
3. Designs on a quilt square must be sewn on (not glued), or they may be embroidered directly on the leather square. Pins, any form of sharp metal, or other material that may pose a danger of damage to other quilt squares are not permitted.
4. For uniformity leather squares must be purchased from Barking Leather.
Please note the above should be considered minimum requirements, also the producer of an event has the ability to limit the number of additions at their event due to time constraints or space limitations.

By submitting this form and panel to the Leather Quilt Project you also agree to allow your panel to be displayed publicaly with the rest of the Quilt. The Quilt is for the community, by the community and as such no panels can be designated private.
