CLC (Chicago Leather Club)

Chicago Leather Club (CLC) is a leather club based in Chicago IL. It was formed in 2002 to continue the traditions of Leather United Chicago (LUC).

CLC's Mission

To represent and promote the Leather/Levi/BDSM/Fetish community and lifestyle with dignity and respect.
To establish an organization which shall reflect a cross section of the pansexual Leather/Levi/BDSM/Fetish community, and which will be free from all discrimination against race, religion, sexuality or lifestyle.
To facilitate communication and the exchange of information between local clubs and organizations; the local community and communities in other areas; and interested individuals.
To increase and create understanding between the members of the Leather/Levi/BDSM/Fetish community.
To provide a social and supportive environment for members of the Leather/Levi/BDSM/Fetish community and people with related interests. A place where individuals can meet, talk, exchange ideas and feelings, and socialize without sexual or social pressures.
To support community-based charitable organizations through fund-raising and volunteer efforts
CLC also conducted outreach via their e-newsletter called Nine-Tales.

Their home bar was The CellBlock Chicago.
