ShipMates Club of Baltimore

We are the oldest Leather/Levis Social club in Maryland. The club began in April 1974 with 27 Charter members at the Gallery Bar when the patrons were asked ”Are you interested in forming a leather/levi club?” Within a few months, membership grew to 49 men after several meetings at the apartment of Walter Beall and Jack Fauth. Through the years, we have given thousands of dollars to local charities, including Chase Brexton Health Services, Brother Help Thyself, SPEAK(Suicide Prevention Education Awareness for Kids), Johns Hopkins Pediatric AIDS, Joseph Richey Hospice, B and Dee's Baltimore Love, Inc. among others.
