< BACK TO QUILT Queer Leather Association Queer Leather Association Sacramento is a non-profit organization of queer people interested in and promoting the leather lifestyle, which creates an environment where queer leather persons may meet and share bonding experiences with those with similar interests. We facilitate confidential leather discussion groups and demonstrations. QLAS encourages the establishment of safe and interesting environments conducive to the support, encouragement, and advancement of all aspects of the leather lifestyle. We support safer sex and safer sex educational programs that encourage individual responsibility, as well as personal freedom to make informed choices and decisions regarding sex and sex play. We are dedicated to community involvement to educate, end discrimination against sexual minorities, and promote philanthropic endeavors in our society. More History of QLAS: The Queer Leather Association Sacramento formed several years after a predecessor leather club, the Sacramento Valley LeatherCorps, became defunct. Some of the original twelve Founders and Founding Members were involved in the Sacramento Valley LeatherCorps and recognized the need for this type of organization in the Sacramento area. < BACK TO QUILT House of Passion The House of Passion has been the dream and vision of its Founder and Head of House, Master PG, for more than a decade. As of September 2023, that dream became a reality. The House of Passion has been established and accepted as the 8th House under the NCM Leather Family umbrella with the support of each Heads of Houses in the NCM Patriarch. Master PG is well qualified in leading her House, having been in the community since 2005, has personally founded two large community organizations Charlotte Femdom Society (CFS) and Dominae of the Carolinas (DoC), served on multiple boards, and is currently serving on the board and of Southeast Leatherfest (SELF) and DoC simultaneously. She also served as House of Reaper's second in command for 5 years and has lived an M/s dynamic with her slave husband since 2007. Over the years Master PG has mentored individuals on both sides of the slash, and taught classes for the community at large. As Head of House of Passion, Master PG continues to serve, teach, mentor, and work closely with other Family and Community Leaders to support the community in every way possible. House of Passion actively supports The Leather Leadership Conference (LLC), Southeast Leather Fest (SELF), Leather Archives & Museum (LA&M), Leather History Preservation Weekend (LHPW), The Tradesmen, MAsT - Charlotte, Charlotte Area Power Exchange (CAPEX), and Dominae of the Carolinas (DoC). We also have adopted The House of Mercy as the main charitable organization we will support. Our mission statement is to remain a House of distinction, and support both the NCM Family and our Community. HoI is an Indigenous based Leather Family collective composed of clans who may have various kinks, fetishes, cultures, and knowledge, who subscribe to the principles of the 7 Granfather Teachings (Love, Respect, Bravery, Truth, Honesty, Humility, & Wisdom). The dynamic of the House of Iron is rooted in the entrustment of power, a collective wisdom and the fudnamental principles of decolonizing kink. The Matriarchy, the house leadership, facilitates agreements between clans and is responsible for final decision making.
