The love of women’s leather history; love of women and their energy; and having the heart to preserve the legacies of the women who have come before us and continue to pave the way for Leatherwomen. Women’s International Leather Legacy titleholders work their entire year. They seek out women that are willing to share their stories and their lives, they conduct interviews that are archived and preserved. Every woman has a story to tell, a unique perspective on life and how it has affected her leather path. < BACK TO QUILT Leather Culture Club Northeast Leather Culture Club Northeast (LCCNE): Our History The Leather Culture Club Northeast (LCCNE) is a sanctioned chapter of the Leather Culture Club South Florida (LCCSF), founded by Master Oakman and slave diamond. Carrying forward their vision of education, respect, and preservation of Leather history, the Northeast chapter was established under the leadership of Master Sno. The first informal gatherings of LCCNE took place during the summer of 2023, bringing together individuals passionate about Leather life, education, and community connection. By October 2023, the chapter developed its public presence on FetLife, signaling its commitment to open education and visibility within the broader BDSM and Leather communities. The mission of LCCNE is to teach and preserve the traditions of Leather life—its history, values, and protocols—while embracing the evolving landscape of the modern BDSM community. We are dedicated to giving a voice to history, honoring the pioneers who paved the way for the openness and freedom we enjoy today. At the heart of our mission is kindness, respect, and growth. We strive to create an inclusive and supportive environment where every individual is encouraged to become a better version of themselves—whether they are seasoned in the Leather lifestyle or newly curious. LCCNE holds weekly meetings for patched members, offering a space for education, mentorship, and connection. Our home, The Church, located in New Paltz, New York, serves as both our education and skill-share dungeon and our community gathering space. Within The Church, we host monthly in-person classes, discussions, and dissertations, creating an environment where knowledge and experience are freely shared. House of Rising Phoenix currently works and serves in the metro Atlanta area. About the House Colors and Crest: House of Rising Phoenix house colors are Royal Blue and Gold. Royal blue to signify the dignity and class household members are expected to uphold. Gold to represent the goal of value and purity that the house hopes to achieve. In 2015, they invited Sir Keith and girl lizzy to be in their house and then carol was invited in 2021. The Wolf Den members are devoted to giving back to the community by means of volunteer work, mentoring, and teaching classes. < BACK TO QUILT Daddy Bear's Claw Clan Claw Clan was officially named in 1998 by the 17 members of the time. We had jokingly dubbed our anchor Dom a “Beast Master” since all members of the extended Leather family had some animal affiliation: bears, pups, big cats, lizard, ponies, and even a dolphin. He came from a gay Leather and military background, which both excited and chafed at the same time. We do not all live under the same roof, and some have not visited in person for years, but through the wonderful gift of electronic communication we do stay united in loving dedication to Family. Our family spans the world. We are the clawed beasts of your nightmares and of your wettest dreams, and at times supervenient superheroes. All genders, all races, all abilities, all faiths, all roles… It is a strong common thread that ties us together, while differences can make that thread thin at times it is dedication to Leather life as we each know it and mutual love that keeps it intact. We serve our greater community by providing service to Leather conferences together.
