Bring the Quilt to an Event! Request the Leather Quilt Please use this form to request the Leather Quilt for display at your event. Below please note some important information: The Leather Quilt is reserved on a first come first serve basis. You may reserve the Quilt up to one year in advance, but no more. You are responsible for the shipping fees to and from your event. There must be a person (legal name) designated as the responsible party/ on site caretaker for the quilt before we send it to you. If different from the event producer, it authorizes that individual to communicate with and give instructions for the Quilt. The Quilt is quite large and you are responsible for providing the frame(s) to display the quilt safely. It is suggested to use heavy duty pipe and drape frames. With the quilts current size, it works extremely well and is much easier and less of a trip hazard than previously used lighting frames. If you need information regarding the current size of the quilt please contact us. The squares are 12" x 12" and will come with quick links. Please remember this is a historic piece and many of the patches are irreplaceable, handle it with care. You are permitted to arrange the columns to suit your event, but PLEASE keep square rearranging to a minimum and if it is necessary to move a square you are expected to put the quilt back in the order it was shipped to you. The quilt must be accessible by people attending your event and they must be able to take photos of and with the quilt if they choose.. Please plan your display area accordingly. Many people wish to add their square at an event they attend where the quilt is being displayed. Allowing additions is at the sole discretion of the producer of the event. Additions, if allowed, must be supervised by the onsite caretaker so no damage is done to the quilt. Before a square is allowed to be added we must have all documentation on the square. Please do not allow additions that have not submitted all necessary documentation. Due to the size of the Quilt, events wishing to display the quilt may request request the Quilt in full or only half. If you have questions about shipping costs or providing an adequate frame, please let us know before reserving the Quilt for your event. We are here to help. < BACK TO QUILT Pin Panel 9 In 2019, the decision was made to remove pins and dedicated pin panels from the quilt. < BACK TO QUILT Felines of Color Collective (FoCC) Felines of Color Collective (FoCC), an organization for self-identified kinky felines, including cats/kittens/nekos, tigers, lions, panthers, leopards, lynxes, cheetahs, cougars, hyenas, pumas, wildcats, et cetera, of African, Latino/Hispanic, Asian, Arab and Indigenous descent who participate in animal/pet play. Felines of Color Collective (FoCC) is a safe space for fellowship, play, emotional transparency, and non-oppressive, POC-affirming ideas and politics for kinky felines. Our primary objective is to empower felines to voice their interests and experiences, and foster educational and restorative camaraderie for felines, their owners, and other kinksters of color. We firmly believe that the time for more feline representation is now. < BACK TO QUILT DFW Pony Club DFW Pony Play is a community focused organization dedicated to education, inclusion, and safe exploration within the pony play, pet play, and critter communities. Since its founding in 2013 , the group has prioritized creating a welcoming and affirming environment for ponies, critters, pets, and all who share an interest in these forms of expression. Central to the group’s identity is its patch: a quilted pony blanket inspired by the Pony Play Pride Flag, created by Kelly Emery in 2020. The choice of a pony blanket reflects the organization’s core values of warmth, comfort, and approachability symbolizing a space where individuals can feel safe, supported, and embraced. In 2023 We founded Hoof Con, a three day pony play event held in Dallas, Texas. In addition to hosting Hoof Con, the organization regularly provides educational classes both locally and across the United States, helping to expand awareness, safety practices, and skill development within the community. < BACK TO QUILT Leather Quest Leather Quest is a two year intensive program focused on personal growth, BDSM and Leather history, earned leather, and advanced BDSM skills conducted in three different cities, Salt Lake City, Utah, Las Vegas, Nevada, and San Francisco, California. Leather Quest formed in 2008 out of Journeyman III Academy which was started in 1997 by Michael A. with the permission of Grand Master Keith Edward E (KEE), headmaster of the Journeyman II Academy in San Jose, California. The Leather Quest program consists of three separate programs, a 100-level, 200-level, and 300-level program.
