< BACK TO QUILT Bay State Marauders The Bay State Marauders are a fellowship of members, primarily leather/Levi oriented, whose purpose is to develop character and leadership in the spirit of friendship, brotherhood, and goodwill. On February 22, 2003, in the back room of the Boston Ramrod, two of our charter members were having a conversation. The conversation turned to the idea of forming a leather club. Our first meeting with the Marauders took place on March 1st, 2003. At this meeting were the original seven members of the club: Eric R., Joe L., Mike C., Rob C., Scott E., Scrapie, and Shawn C. During 2003, a few more charter members were added later in the year: David L., Jim M., and Paul B. Tom A. From 2003 to 2004, the Bay State Marauders had their bar nights at The Boston Ramrod. In 2005 and 2006, the Marauders alternated bar nights every other month between the Boston Ramrod and The Alley Bar. In 2007, they went back to just having the Boston Ramrod until 2013. The Marauders then moved their bar night to The Boston Eagle and were there until the bar closed in March of 2020. The bar night is now held at Cathedral Station on the fourth Saturday of every month. Club Cocktail: The Marauder Cape Codder is vodka, cranberry juice, and a splash of Chambord. This was the first served at Empire City MC’s 50th Anniversary in Jersey City, New Jersey, on Friday, October 10th, 2014. The day before the club was voted into AMCC.
