< BACK TO QUILT International Power Exchange Beyond Leather created the International Power Exchange (IPE) contest to cater to and celebrate the vast diversity of power exchange dynamics which is NOT exclusive to leather. IPE is open to all over 21 years of age regardless of gender or sexual preference, who have been in any power exchange dynamic for at least 1 year. Only 3 from a poly family may represent the family. A pair could enter in any power exchange dynamic such as Owner/property, Dominant/submissive, Master/slave, Femdom/submissive, Taken in Hand, Handler/puppy, Daddy or Mommy with a boi/boy/girl, Sir/Ma’am with a boi/boy/girl/little and the list goes on and on. The title winners will have the opportunity to travel around the country giving demos and classes on the aspects of their personal dynamic. < BACK TO QUILT House of Steele The House of Steele (HoS) was formed in 2021 by Head of House (HoH) Master SteeleToe the Bootblack to connect and train leatherfolk with an interest and natural ability to lead and develop the leather community. At present, the HOS comprises a Protege (Reece Diamond), an alpha boy (boy Ogun), boy SwitchBlade, boy Bakari, boy Forge, and one boy-in-training (boy Vice). Additionally, the HoS is committed to live openly as kinksters with a goal of de-stigmatizing kink/fetish/BDSM/leather, especially for people of color. The Head of House (HoH) SteeleToe took his first kink class in 1998, and in 2014, he found a community where he could learn and grow as a leatherman. His passion for education led him to ONYX NY/Northeast, where he served as President and VP, and received the 2019 Brotherhood Award. He taught classes online via the House of Steele Facebook page, and at national events including Leather Leadership Conference (LLC) (for whom he currently serves on the board as Treasurer), Bootblack RoundUp, Virtual Bootblack Jam, Kink U in Rochester, NY, and various ONYX chapters. He was the 2020-2021 Northeast Bootblack, the 2022 IMBB 1st Runner Up and inaugural winner of the IMBB Brotherhood award. He served as a judge for BBM, the Woods Leather Contest, the NJ Leather Contest, and IMsBB. SteeleToe was covered as a Master on March 23, 2024. The HoS is passionate about education and community service, and offers classes and online chats to increase knowledge of and exposure to kink/fetish/BDSM leather topics and issues. They volunteer at events in their local communities, including the Tri-State area, Western NY, Washington D.C., and Atlanta. Members of the HoS are also members of three Onyx chapters (NY/Northeast, Mid-Atlantic, and Southeast) and two BLUF chapters. < BACK TO QUILT Domum Corium Cordis “Domum Corium Cordis,” (DCC) Latin for “House of Leather Heart” is a non-profit fratrem (gender neutral term for fraternal) organization, a “leather house” or “leather family.” This house began formation on 25 Jan 2018, and this Fetlife page, LeatherHeart started in late 2023. The purpose of DCC is fratremal support, education, and charitable activities, ultimately to create safe space. The Organization structures its approach based upon three house values of Family, Integrity, and Altruism, which distill many other values, ethics, and duties often seen in the leather community: Family (Latin: familia) represents nurturing supporting loyalty, trust, mentorship, tolerance, enduring love, forgiveness, and creation of safe space. Integrity (Latin: integritas) represents proactive ethical behavior, honor, honesty, respect, humility, inclusion, diversity, justice, doing no harm, life-long learning and growth, admitting when wrong, conflict resolution. Important to our community are also concepts of consent and confidentiality. Altruism (Latin: alteri huic) includes concepts of selfless concern for the well-being of others, service, duty. In our community this is sometimes referred to as a selfless service heart, a desire to help and educate. House membership includes heads of house Marvin Ingram (Lash Onyx, Bear Marvin) and Michael Skroch (Bear Mike, DaddyBearMike, Poppa Savant Onyx). Marvin is President of Onyx High Desert, a 501c3 and chapter of Onyx Men of Color, an associate of 15 Association. He also holds titles of New Mexico Leather Bear 2019 and New Corazon Leather (New Mexico) 2024. Mike is Vice President of NM-REAL, Inc. (New Mexico Respect Ethics Acceptance in Leather, Inc), a 501c3. He is an associate of Onyx Men of Color and associate of the year 2019, 2020,2022, and 2024, an associate of 15 Association. He is a fully patched member in now closed organizations of Albuquerque Leather Daddys and Albuquerque boys of Leather. In 2025 there were four other members of house. DCC is a mutual member of house with the house of Sir Electric Steve, Chicago Hellfire Club, and friends of house with multiple other houses and individuals. Community involvement and service is documented on the Fetlife page LeatherHeart. Contributions of DCC include providing educational classes across the USA including topics of Better BDSM with Passion, Born Kinky – Discovering Kink, Tools for Improving Community Inclusion, From Toys to Tasers – Understanding the breadth of ElectroPlay, Kinky Naked Yoga, Wax Play – Practical & Safe, and Tools for Resolving Internal Community Conflict. They also produced 8-10 hours of video training, Dungeon Monitoring – Training from Different Perspectives, and provide DM training. Patch: DCC’s house crest, patch, is unified by a trefoil knot, representing the infinite flow and interchange between the three house values and reference to the BDSM trefoil, tying the house to communities of alternative lifestyles, leather, and kink. A central heart bound by the trefoil, represents the core of this house. Colors are taken from the Leather Pride flag, with black and white colors offset to stand out on light and dark backgrounds. Family is represented by a wolf pack. Integrity is represented by scales acknowledging that the complexity of human nature and situations can be a balance. Altruism is represented by heart in hand, offering selfless service. The choice of Latin for the house name includes focus on formality of values and honors, and that Latin is a language of scholars. Letters “DCC” are subtly included with a “D” on the head of the central wolf and “C” around the eyes of the two other wolves.
